Facebook Messenger finally available for desktop, Windows, and Mac. The company announced in a post that the new version is available to download on Windows Store and Mac App Store starting today.

Facebook Messenger for desktop lets you communicate with video and audio calls, including unlimited free group video calls. Before that, Messenger was limited to desktops using the web versions only. Now, it has everything you want in a desktop app.

Facebook Messenger for desktop adopts the dark or light mode from the system default settings. You can change from dark, light, grey, and high contrast mode depending on your choice from settings. It also has message requests, active status, and threaded replies.
