Facebook is one of the most widely used apps among all the top social media apps but hasn’t been quick in releasing dark mode for their app, like others. Twitter, Instagram, WhatsApp, TikTok, almost all other apps are running on light and dark versions, but Facebook folks are still not done with their version yet. But it seems that the company is slowly rolling out dark mode on the Facebook mobile app, both on Android and iOS.
Navigate to the burger menu in Facebook Android app
Navigate and select the burger menu on Facebook for Android, located on the upper right side of the app.
Scroll down to Settings & Privacy and open
In the burger menu, scroll down to Settings & Privacy and click for more options.
Click Dark Mode and select On or Use system settings
Select the theme of the Facebook app that you want to go with and close the settings.
The dark interface looks unfinished and is not up to the mark as it feels in the other apps. But, anyway, dark mode is finally here. So, you can enable it in the settings of the app. If you can’t find the option, wait for the official rollout of the feature.
