Huawei launches two smartphones, Nova 6 and Nova 6 with 5G support and minor other changes. The smartphones come with a similar Kirin processor that was seen in Huawei Mate 30 series. With 6.57-inch FHD+ display, both phones come with a capsule like hole-punch with dual selfie cameras. The hole-punch is similar to the one we have seen in Galaxy S10+.
Performance:
Speaking of processor, both phones have a Kirin 990 chipset with 8GB of RAM and two storage options. The regular Nova 6 has 128GB storage and the 5G model also comes with a 256GB model.
Battery:
With that much performance packed hardware and high-res displays, there should be some juice to run all this. Nova 6 and Nova 6 5G have different battery sizes. The regular version has slightly larger battery than the 5G variant. Nova 6 has 4,200mAh battery, while Nova 6 5G comes with 4,100mAh battery.
Camera:
Triple rear cameras are present on both phones. Just likeHonor V30, these phones have one 40-megapixel main sensor, an 8-megapixel telephoto lens, and an ultra-wide sensor of 8-megapixel. On the front, there are two cameras in capsule shaped hole-punch, a 32-megapixel shooter and an 8-megapixel sensor for ultra-wide selfies.
Since these phones are currently launched in China, the pricing is approximated in USD. The 4G variant with 128GB storage and 8GB RAM is priced at approx. $454 which is 3,199 Yuan. However, the 5G variant with 128GB storage costs 3,799 Yuan (approx. $539) and 4,199 Yuan ($596) for 256GB storage model.
