Honor launches V30 and V30 Pro in China with 5G support. The new phones were announced at a launch event in China which was also live streamed on Honor China’s website. Honor finally launches the most awaited Honor V30 and V30 Pro. The phones have Kirin 990 processor, the same from Huawei Mate 30 series. Both of these smartphones are 5G. The Pro model comes with an integrated 5G support, however, the regular V30 has a Balong 5000 modem for 5G support.
The battery of both the phones is different in size, Honor V30 has a larger 4,200mAh battery and the 5G variant comes with 4,100mAh battery. Both have 40W charging support which can charge your phone up to 70% in 30 minutes.
Let’s talk about display now, both phones have the same 6.57-inch punch-hole 1080p display. The capsule-like punch-hole has two cameras for selfies, a 32 MP camera, and an 8 MP wide-angle lens. The fingerprint is also moved from the traditional rear of the phone to the side.
Speaking of the prices of the phones, the 6GB RAM model is available for $470 approx. and the 8GB RAM costs around $525. However, the Pro model comes with 128GB and a 256GB model available for $555 and $600 approx. The phones are currently launching in China and the global version will be available as View 30 or V30. Pre-orders begin December 5.
