Apple unveils the new MacBook Air 2020 with improved specs and a completely revamped Magic Keyboard. The new keyboard has redesigned the ‘scissor mechanism’ instead of previously used controversial ‘butterfly mechanism.’ Other than keyboard improvement, the new MacBook Air also starts at $999.
It has a 13-inch Retina display with 4 million pixels for stunning videos, photos and viewing experience along with two times faster performance because of the latest 10th-generation Intel Core processors up to 1.2GHz quad-core Core i7 with Turbo Boost speeds up to 3.8GHz. MacBook Air 2020 also has 80% faster graphics performance, which means that you can experience games, video editing, and other graphics-intensive apps.
The base model now has an upgraded 256GB storage, which can be maxed out to 2TB SSD storage for more photos and videos. Apple claims that the new MacBook Air has an all-day battery life due to macOS Catalina. The latest thin MacBook also has Touch ID in the power button for faster payment authorizations and secure login.
The new MacBook Air is now available on Apple’s website, starting at $999 for the base model and $899 for education. You can get MacBook Air in Rose Gold (that Apple’s Pink color) and Space Grey.
