Oppo Reno 3 Pro launches with world’s first 44MP selfie camera

Oppo launches Reno 3 Pro in India with the world’s first 44MP selfie camera. The new member of the Reno series is different from Reno 3 Pro 5G, which was announced in China last year in December. Reno 3 Pro is India’s first smartphone and comes with a MediaTek chipset.

The dual SIM mid-range smartphone has 8GB of RAM, and two storage models of 128GB or 256GB storage with expandable storage support. Yes, you guessed it right. The dual SIM slot can be either used for dual SIMs or one SIM and a microSD slot. Unlike other companies that are slaughtering headphone jacks, Oppo kept 3.5mm headphone jack in Reno 3 Pro. It runs ColorOS 7 on top of Android 10.

Oppo Reno 3 has a large display of 6.4-inches with a 1080p resolution. A 44MP selfie camera which is housed on the front in a dual hole-punch display along with a 2MP depth of field sensor. It has quad camera setup. The primary lens is of 64MP lens, a 13MP telephoto lens with 2x zoom, an 8MP ultrawide, and a 2MP monochrome sensor. Oppo claims to have 5x zoom and 20x digital zoom, but just like other smartphones, it doesn’t look great after 5x zoom. A software update might make it even better with time.

This Reno 3 Pro doesn’t support 5G like the Chinese model and has a battery of 4,025mAh battery, which has 30W fast charging support with Oppo’s VOOC 4.0. It means that the phone can get 0 to 50% in just 20 minutes of charging, and 56 minutes will get you 100% of the battery, according to Oppo.

Oppo Reno 3 Pro comes in Sky White, Auroral Blue, and a Midnight Black color. 8GB RAM with 128GB storage Reno 3 Pro costs Rs. 29,990, which is $415 approx. and the 256GB storage model costs Rs. 32,990, which is $445 approx.
