Realme announces two new smartphones, ‘Realme 6’ and ‘Realme 6 Pro,’ for the Indian market. Both smartphones offer high-end specs at lower prices. They have a 90Hz display since high-refresh-rate displays are getting common nowadays. Along with smartphones, Realme also announced the Realme fitness band at the event.
Display
The non-Pro model has a smaller 6.5-inches display, unlike the Realme 6 Pro, which comes with a 1080p screen, 20:9 aspect ratio, and a 6.6-inch display. The power button has an integrated fingerprint sensor. Both seem to have the same display tech since Realme didn’t specify the technology. The fingerprint sensor, on the other hand, is faster in the non-Pro model than the one used in 6 Pro.
Performance
Both smartphones have different processors. The Pro has Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G while the non-Pro model comes with a MediaTek Helio G90T chipset, not surprised why the price is low. They also have different RAM options depending on the amount and model of the phone. Realme 6 Pro has a 6/8GB RAM option with 256GB storage while the 6 has 4,6, or 8GB RAM option with 128GB maximum storage.
Camera
Realme 6 Pro and 6 have quad rear cameras with 64MP primary sensor along with 8MP ultrawide, 2MP macro lens. Unlike the regular 6, the Pro model has a 12MP telephoto lens, and unlike the Pro model, the regular 6 has a 2MP monochrome sensor. There’s also an 8MP ultrawide selfie camera in Realme 6 Pro. Both smartphones have 4,300mAh battery life with VOOC 4.0 and 30W.
Price & Colors
The smartphones come with trendy gradient colors. They come in orange, lightning-inspired blue, red, and comet-esque white. Realme 6 with 4GB/64GB costs $177 approx. and $218 approx. for 8GB/128GB. Speaking of the Pro model, the basic 6GB/64GB starts at $232, while the 8GB/256GB model costs $259 approx.
